Guillermo Del Toro!

I got to meet Guillermo del Toro tonight, and boy was he awesome. Really funny and humble and just really seemed passionate about the work he does, and very grateful to be doing what he does. He's an inspiration creativly and as a human being. I can't wait to work on the Hobbit!! I hope he actually finds this blog and looks at some of my work!

New Zealand

I'm off to New Zealand to work at Weta! I can't wait! The Lord of the Rings is the whole reason I wanted to animate, so this really is a dream come true. I never could have imagined my life would lead me here and I'm truly grateful. Can't wait to drive on the other side of the road! haha.

Teaching at Otis!

Hey all, or you, if you are the only one reading this. I will be teaching an Intro to 3D class at Otis next semester. I'm very excited to see how I do as an instructor, as it's something I've always wanted to do. Here goes nothing.

Animation Mentor!

Sounds like a repeat... Because it is. A year and a half ago I signed up for Animation Mentor but ended up not doing it because of my amazing opportunity at Rhythm and Hues. Well, here I am, still at Rhythm and Hues, about to go onto my fourth film, and still craving knowledge. I applied again, and was accepted into the Winter '09 program. I can't tell you how excited I am... Not starting til January 5th. But it'll come soon enough.
